Architecture Overview
Regardless of which deployment option you choose, all AI processing happens locally on the on-premise Edge Server installed at your facility. No raw video ever leaves your site.
The only data transmitted to the cloud are small, annotated video clips used exclusively for Accuracy Measurement and performance validation. This edge-first design ensures low latency, high reliability, and strong data control.
On-Premise Edge Server — All AI inference and video processing runs locally at your facility. Camera feeds are analyzed in real time without any cloud dependency.
Cloud (Reporting Only) — The cloud layer handles your web dashboard, reporting, and stores annotated video clips for accuracy validation. It does not process raw video.
Option 1: PalletVision Cloud
Default Option — Multi-Tenant SaaS — Hosted on PalletVision Azure
This is our recommended default deployment. PalletVision hosts and manages the cloud application and video clip storage within our own Azure environment. Everything is configured, maintained, and secured by the PalletVision team so you can focus on operational insights from day one.
